Yesterday I had coffee with a friend. She is an instructor in marketing at the College of The Rockies. I was telling her how well business was going and how much I was enjoying having my own business.
Then she asked me how my Social Jelly’s Social Media was going.
Huh?
I’m a Social Media Manager, shouldn’t my own business have an exquisite Social Media presence? Here I am consulting with businesses about blogging once a week, updating their twitter and facebook accounts, teaching them how to upload to YouTube and I’m not doing the same.
I told her that I don’t have time for it.
And then we laughed and laughed and laughed. Because that is exactly what a client says when they email me or call me for the first time.
